The darker red fixes the issue I had with the green… Perfect! Like the new fonts too.

1) You’re having problems with paragraphs because WordPress (TinyMCE, technically) does a poor job deciding when to break a paragraph. You’d be better off composing offline in Notepad (NOT WORD) and pasting it back in…I know that’s sorta klunky but it’s the best solution if you’re going to continue to host your blog on WordPress’s servers.
2) I’m not a graphic designer, but I play one on TV. That greenbluebooger hue has got to go! Also, double the font size on the web address. That’s the most important piece of information on your card, much more so than your name or phone number. Your website will sell your skills, so make sure it’s really easy to read…more space between the letters (I think it’s called kerning).
3) Again, I’m not a graphic designer, I pay a ridiculously skilled guy to do that for me (http://www.trentonwilcox.com), but he always says to keep in mind how your logo will look across media (print, web, signs, shirts, etc), in grayscale (letterhead, for example) and very importantly, next to your product (photos, in your case).

So we’re nerds and I am sitting right beside Chris as he is typing his comments.
We are having a very nerdlike conversation about the importance of your website as it pertains to marketing your work. Therefore, you want to direct as many people as possible to your website. Your business card does a great job showing your skills (heck, it almost makes me want to have you take my picture and you know how much I hate having my picture taken!), but you also need to make sure people know how they can check out more of your work AND contact you. (I know I am repeating some of what Chris said).
While I would not call the color “greenbluebooger,” I do think it distracts from the photos rather than enhancing them. The logo looks great, but is it the logo or the photos that you really want to draw attention to?
We think you do fabulous work and look forward to the development of Redhouse Photography!
