Thanks again for all the feedback. Here’s some other color choices and a look at changing the back up a bit to make my contact info larger. Yes, no or maybe?

1. “Greenish”

The blueish one is great…but I’m actually liking the green! It’s a little different and fresh looking…your logo looks really good! Happy New Year!!

I really like the blue one, but the green one is excellent too now that the red is darker. And you did say that the red/green combo is you… Go with your gut!

I vote for the bluish one… I think it compliments the pictures more and makes them pop.

I just thought of something else….. I know that you have your website on there and it will more than likely have a contact us button, but you might need to put your email address on the business card. That was they can reach you direct without going to the website. :)

Thanks again for the input, all! I love it! So…today I was on someone else’s computer and saw what these colors looked like on there…let’s see…the green was blue, the blue was bluer and the tan was purple. So-just remember the colors you see are very possibly not the same as on my screen. Anyway, just wanted to mention that. More later.

Okay, okay, of course I love it all, smoochie smoochie, you are beautiful and fabulous and all of that…..BUT
I think you might want to reconsider putting actual photos on your card. They will be very small and not a true testament to the beauty of the photos. Also, it may “limit” your market range. You want to appeal to families—yes, seniors—yes, BUT most importantly (only because you stand to make the most $$$) BRIDES. Does that make sense? That’s just a stay-at-home-mom-of-3-who-used-to-be-a-college-grad-with-a-degree-in-advertising/marketing-but-who-now-can-barely-complete-a-thought-before-being-needed-to-wipe-a-bottom, get-someone-a-drink,and-find-a-pacifier! Just thought I’d throw in my thoughts (and by the way, of course I LOVED LOVED LOVED the trendy one too!!!!)

Stacy-thanks for your thoughts! I understand about the smallness of the pics but have seen it done and liked it (at least better than using wallet sized pics/cards). I plan on ordering a small batch first and we’ll see how they look.

About the BRIDES…I am choosing NOT to do weddings. At least right now. I may have to eat my words at a later point in time but right now…I’m just not interested. While it is true that one would make the most money in weddings I’m going to be a “true” artist and say that I’m not in this for the money. Really and truly…I’m doing it simply because this is my passion and I need only enough to support my equipment. Beyond that…it’s just icing. With that being said, I am going to only do the type of work which I enjoy and I just don’t see weddings being that. Too much stress; too much time. I want to focus on everyday life…in particular the kiddos.

Love your stay-at-home-mom-of-3-who-used-to-be-a-college-grad-with-a-degree-in-advertising/marketing-but-who-now-can-barely-complete-a-thought-before-being-needed-to-wipe-a-bottom, get-someone-a-drink,and-find-a-pacifier ideas and comments! Keep ‘em coming!

OH…..so no bridezillas in your future! Okay, got it! By the way, I have 3 of the most beautiful children in NWA all under one roof (in my completely unbiased opinion)—–they would make great models :) (you know, if you need to take a few practice shots!) That’s good that you’ve seen a card done like that….it’s always hard to tell how things actually look in “real life”. My sister-in-law is getting into photography as a hobby and asked the guidance counselor at the high school for some seniors who may not have enough $ to book a professional. Isn’t that sweet! It is a good ministry opportunity as well!

Fran-Thanks for mentioning the email. I had thought of that and will have a contact page on the website. Until I actually get the website up and running I’m not going to use an email on the card since I’m not sure exactly what it will be. After that I may but my goal is to get people TO the website to check it out.
